Waist to Hip ratio is a major of fat stored on your body around waist and hip. One can easily measure fat distribution by this way. Most of us store fat in two ways. One group stores fat around the middle portion of the body. The fat sored in this part is called apple shape distribution. Other group stores fat around hips. Few experts opine that having more fat around stomach is riskier than having fat around hips or thighs. But having unnecessary extra fat on your body is not at all desirable, no matter what part of your body carries this fat.
