The very first thing such patient must obey is to take with a pinch of salt! Sodium levels need to be lowered in the body. Any food with high sodium content should be strictly avoided. People with high blood pressure levels, e.g. > 120/80 and <140/90 need to change their diet plan with other factors like exercise, some basic life style changes. High blood pressure levels give rise to all kinds heart risks due to high sodium levels. Stop adding salt to food items and increase the intake of potassium-rich food. e.g. Banana, oranges, watermelon, potato. Experts advise to lower the high blood pressure levels without taking drugs. |
